A Wedding of Royal Standards

On a cold, snowy January afternoon  Phoenix Morris gathered at the Royal Standard to help celebrate a rather unconventional wedding!

It may have been cold but everyone was in high spirits as Phoenix processed the couple into the venue and provided an arch of sticks as well as entertaining wedding guests outside.

Christmas is coming!

On a cold November evening,  Phoenix gathered once again for the annual Ricmansworth winter evening.  This year we had a good turn out and an appreciative audience.  Despite The cold, our dancers put on a good show and  our musicians not only played for the dancing but also entertained the crowds with some Christmas classics.  A good night had by all!

Open Evening Excitement

The Phoenix Open Evening kicked off with a display dance (Upton Stick) followed by presentation of a cheque to Colne Valley Special Sailors,  one of our nominated charities.

Then it was time for our guests to try some dancing! Stepping practice first and then learning Shepherds Hey. Everyone picked it up quickly and fun was had by all!
